Hayley Marsten - songs from the new album + stories behind making it

Hi friends, I've been meaning to tell you..that I've been working away behind the scenes on my 3rd album! I have a few secrets to share, and what better place to tell you than in the studio I've been spending all my free time in. This afternoon is split into two parts. 'A Deep Conversation': The Business of Making an Album When I started in music, writing, recording and releasing an album was my big goal, but at first it seemed so impossible. Now that I have written, funded, recorded, released and marketed 2 albums and 3 EPs, and I'm about to do it again for my 3rd album, I want to pay it forward. So this chat is to share some of my knowledge with artists or people curious about what goes into making a record. And who better to chat with than my friend, Molly Jackson. Live Album Preview I'll be joined by my band to play some of the new album's songs live, and we might even have a few sneaky peeks of the album versions too (hint: we will). I'm so excited to start sharing part of this next chapter with you! Set Times 1:30 pm Doors 2:00 pm 'A Deep Conversation': A discussion on album creation, from writing and producing to planning the business of releasing as a self-managed artist, with Hayley Marsten & Molly Jackson (triple J Unearthed). Q&A included 3:30 pm Hayley Marsten's Album 3 live preview: we're playing some new songs and maybe giving you a few surprises Hunting Ground Studios is a fully accessible venue.
