After so many requests for MORE walks and MORE locations, we’re excited to announce our new on going walk location is BULIMBA! As per usual we are ready to create space and time for connection, movement, and coffee-fuelled chats 🫶 WHEN: Weekly Tuesday Meet at 9AM, grab your coffee at Toastbuds and head across the road to the park and seating area (plenty of room for prams) We’ll kick off the walk around 9.30AM to allow time for mingling and caffeine top-ups WHERE: We’re kicking things off at one of Bulimba’s local faves: TOASTBUDS Home to Brisbane’s best toasties, tasty treats, and top-tier coffee — it’s the perfect pre-walk pit stop! 📍 Toastbuds 133 Oxford Street, Bulimba Grab a bite, sip your coffee, and head across the road to the park to sip and mingle (as Toastbuds has limited seating and the park is perfect for all of our prams) About Hot Mums Walk Club: Hot Mums Walk Club is all about creating a safe, welcoming, and empowering community for mums. Whether you're flying solo, bringing your little ones, or inviting a support person along. It’s a space for connection, conversation, and a whole lot of self-love. Meet Your Host: Meet Xanthe — Your Bulimba Hot Mum Walk Club Host! Hey mummas, I'm Xanthe 💗 I'm a full-time SAHM to my sweet 10-month-old daughter, Hazel. Before becoming a mum, I ran my own cake business alongside studying a Bachelor of Engineering and Computer Science. These days you'll usually find me enjoying music, painting, running, or curled up with a good book and coffee. I wanted to become a HMWC host after attending several Chermside walks when I was around six months postpartum. After moving to the Southside, I wanted to help create a space that was a little more accessible for local mums while continuing the beautiful sense of community that HMWC provides. What I love most about Hot Mum Walk Club is that it gives mums a chance to step outside the chaos of motherhood and connect with other women who understand both the struggles and the joys. It's a safe space to celebrate the wins, support each other through the tougher seasons, and enjoy the unbeatable combination of coffee, chats and a walk. ☕ Go-to coffee order: Flat white or an iced latte, depending on the weather ☀️ Ideal morning: Sleeping in until at least 6am, a clean house, a happy baby, a morning walk, waffles or French toast loaded with berries, maple syrup and butter, followed by reading a good book during nap time. ✨ Fun fact: I've always been a huge animal lover, but I'm allergic to almost all of them 😂 My message to other mums: "It's always hard to try something new, especially when you've got a little one tagging along who can make even the simplest plans feel unpredictable. But if you're able, come along. Whether that looks like arriving late, leaving early, or only staying for part of the walk, you'll always be welcomed and supported." 🤍 ✨ What to expect at Xanthe's walks: A relaxed, easy-going walk where you can move at whatever pace suits you and your little one. We'll meet at Bulimba Memorial Park (129 Oxford Street, Bulimba), right across from Toastbuds if you'd like to grab a coffee beforehand. From there we'll enjoy a beautiful riverside stroll of just over 2km, soaking up the stunning Brisbane River views and connecting with other local mummas along the way 🫶
