Little Works of Art ~ Watercolour Wreath

An unhurried morning of watercolour and words Discover the joy of slowing down and painting a wreath of delicate botanical forms, framed around a word or quote that means something to you. In this hands-on workshop, we'll explore the gentle art of watercolour painting as you learn essential basics and a selection of creative techniques, all shaped into a soft circular wreath. Together, we'll experiment with washes, wet-on-wet, layering, mark-making, and simple botanical strokes ~ embracing play, delicacy, and imperfection along the way. With fresh flowers and foliage set up to observe, alongside some inspiration pieces, you'll learn to translate the curves and colours of nature into a wreath of your own. You'll then bring your wreath together with a little hand-lettering, choosing a word or quote that feels personal to you, before framing your favourite piece right there in the workshop to take home ready to hang. This workshop is designed to feel like a creative pause ~ slow, soothing, exploratory, and grounding. Whether you're brand new to watercolour or already enjoy painting, you're welcome here. Come create something meaningful from the little techniques and moments that turn paper into art.
