The Art of Hypnotic Language

The Art of Hypnotic Language A Two-Day Workshop with Michael Brook Saturday 24th October 9 am - 5 pm Sunday 25th October 9 am - 5 pm Two days of learning, experiencing and practising the way language can influence how we think, feel and respond. The words we use matter. Sometimes a small change in language can completely change the way a message is received. The right words, delivered in the right way, can create connection, open up possibility and help someone see something differently. The Art of Hypnotic Language is a practical and experiential two-day workshop with Michael, drawing on 22 years of clinical hypnosis practice. Over the weekend, Michael will take you beyond simply understanding hypnotic language and give you the opportunity to experience it, practise it and begin developing confidence in using it naturally. You’ll explore how the conscious and unconscious mind interpret language, how trance occurs naturally, and the language patterns that can support rapport, communication and meaningful change. This isn’t two days of sitting and listening to theory. Michael will demonstrate the techniques, unpack how and why they work, and give you plenty of opportunity to practise them for yourself in a supportive and intimate environment. What We’ll Explore Across the two days, Michael will cover: • The structure of the mind and how language is interpreted by the unconscious • The seven doorways to the unconscious mind and how trance can occur naturally and deliberately • The ethical and responsible use of hypnosis • Hypnotic language patterns including presuppositions, embedded commands and Milton Model patterns • Tone, pace and timbre, and how the way something is said can be as important as the words themselves • The complete induction process and deepeners • Hypnotic constructs Michael uses in his clinical work • Practical demonstrations and plenty of hands-on practice You’ll also receive recordings of four hypnotic processes so you can continue practising and developing your skills after the weekend. Who Is This Workshop For? You don’t need any previous hypnosis training to attend. The workshop is suitable for therapists, counsellors, coaches, hypnotherapists, business professionals, leaders and anyone interested in becoming more aware and intentional in the way they communicate. Whether you use these skills professionally or simply want to understand more about the extraordinary way language shapes our experience, you’ll leave with practical tools you can continue to explore and use well beyond the weekend.
