UiLab The Common Ground | Logan Pulse Check | 11 November 2026

The Common Ground - Logan Pulse Check A city on the rise and an honest conversation about where it's headed. Logan is one of the fastest growing cities in Queensland. The technology reshaping how we work, do business, and live is moving just as fast. But most of that conversation has happened at a distance at the leadership level, in policy documents, or in sectors talking only to themselves. Join us on 11 November for The Common Ground: Logan Pulse Check - a free evening where voices from different parts of Logan come together to share what emerging technology actually looks like from where they're standing, and where they think this city is headed. The evening will feature flowing conversation between people who are actively reshaping Logan's future, and an open invitation for the rest of the community to join in. What we'll explore: • What emerging technology is actually changing on the ground - in businesses, schools, and community organisations right here in Logan • Where the opportunities are, and who's already moving on them • What Logan's economic future looks like, and what it will take to get there • What the next generation sees that the rest of us might be missing You'll hear from: 🎙️ Holly Walton - Senior Business Development Executive, Logan City Council / LOED 🎙️ Faith Enoka - School Captain, Marsden State High School & Future Aerospace Award recipient 🎙️ And more speakers to be announced soon! Hosted by Mo Alizadeh - Logan local, entrepreneur and passionate advocate for innovation and the city's future. Whether you're a business owner navigating change, an educator thinking about what comes next, someone working on Logan's growth, or simply a resident who wants to understand the city they're living in - your voice belongs in this room. There will be dedicated time for Q&A and networking plus, food and drinks provided throughout the evening. This is your chance to be part of the conversation shaping Logan's future. Free event.
