DAMA Canberra - The Semantic Control Plane for Trusted AI

Ab Initio will walk you through how to build a single complete knowledge for auditable, explainable AI Title: The Semantic Control Plane: Hydrating Context for Data and AI at Scale Abstract: Most data programs solve for execution: one project, one use case at a time, and risks decomposing complex problems into individual silos. This method leaves data-driven organisations without the shared context it needs to find the right answer because meaning isn’t standardized across the organization. This problem is also preventing AI from being effective for organisations. The fix is to combine top-down governance and orchestration for speed, with bottom-up cataloguing and federation for scale, meeting in the middle to build a single complete knowledge graph that runs from an industry ontology all the way down to the source system. Ab Initio will walk you through a reference implementation that builds this way at production scale; one industry ontology, thousands of columns and hundreds of millions of data elements. This all has lineage computed from actual transformations, which makes data and AI queries explainable, auditable and most importantly trusted. Come and see how the pieces fit together and what it takes to build one for your own organisation.
