Step into the stories at Lanyon Homestead and experience the landscape and history of Canberra before it became the nation’s capital. Discover the stories of the people who lived and worked here and be immersed in the colonial interiors of the 1850s homestead and outbuildings. Follow your tour with a stroll through the kitchen gardens or a coffee at the Homestead Cafe All visitors MUST book a ticket, including those entitled to a free tour as there are limited places available on each tour. Floriade Garden Tours During spring, some house tours will be replaced with Garden Tours. 13th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 25th and 27th September and 4th, 10th and 11th October at 11am and 1pm Book in here
