SciTech Student Town Hall 2026

SciTech Student Town Hall 2026 💬 No Speeches. Just Conversations. Got something on your mind about uni? Whether it's your classes, assessments, career opportunities, campus experience or ideas for making SciTech better, we'd love to hear from you! Join the UC Student Representative Council (UCSRC) for a relaxed, student-focused conversation with your SciTech Heads of School: • Dr Claire O'Brien – Head of School, Science • Professor Kumudu Munasinghe – Head of School, Information Technology and Systems This is your opportunity to meet your Heads of School, ask questions, share feedback and have a say in your university experience. What's on the agenda? There's no fixed topic - the conversation is about what matters to you! We might chat about: • Teaching & Learning: Classes, assessments, feedback and academic support. • Careers & Opportunities: Internships, industry connections and career readiness. • Student Experience: Campus life, facilities, communication and student support. • Your Ideas: What's working well, what could improve and what you'd like to see change. No question is too small! And if you'd rather just listen, that's completely fine too. You're welcome to come along, hear what others have to say and be part of the conversation. You can also submit questions or suggestions when registering. 📅 Event Details Date: Tuesday, 27 October 2026 Time: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Location: University of Canberra, Bruce Campus (02A04 - Building 2 Level a Room 4) Cost: FREE! We'll have an open discussion followed by time to connect informally with fellow students, SRC representatives and your Heads of School. 🍽️ Come for the conversation, stay for the food! We're planning free food and an opportunity to mingle after the discussion.
