Community Conversations: "Our Children, Our Future"

This gathering is an opportunity for Aboriginal community members to come together, learn more about the Australian Early Development Census (AEDC), and talk about what the findings mean for our children and families here in the ACT. The conversation will focus on what helps our children thrive, the challenges families are facing, and what we want to see strengthened or changed moving forward. There will be different ways to contribute, including yarning together, small group discussions, writing or drawing ideas down, and an individual survey option. What we hear from community will help identify shared priorities and guide the future direction of Connected Beginnings activities and planning. To help make the session accessible for families, we’ll also have: • Transport assistance available • Child-friendly activities and supervision • Food and drinks • Time for informal yarning before and after the session
