A Veterans Comedy Workshop & Showcase

Got a funny story? Reckon you could make a room full of people laugh? Here's your chance to find out! Join us for a FREE stand-up comedy workshop, including lunch, exclusively for veterans and current serving ADF personnel. Learn the tricks of the trade from experienced comedians, including a fellow veteran! We'll cover joke writing, storytelling, timing and stagecraft. Then, if you're feeling brave, take to the stage with your own 3–5 minute set at our Veterans Comedy Showcase, performing alongside experienced comedians! No experience needed. No pressure to perform. Just a chance to try something new, meet some mates and have a bloody good laugh. Workshop: FREE, including lunch and soft drinks. Showcase: Veterans, current serving ADF personnel and their families receive 50% off tickets. Tickets for showcase are HERE. You don't need to purchase a showcase ticket to attend the workshop. If you'd like to cheer on our budding comedians, please book separately and share the showcase link with your friends and family!
