From Service to Stand-Up: Veterans Comedy Showcase

Come and see some brand-new comedians take the stage for the very first time! After stepping outside their comfort zones and learning the art of stand-up from experienced comedians, including a fellow veteran, the participants of our From Service to Stand-Up Veterans Comedy Workshop are ready for the big finale: performing their very own 3–5 minute comedy sets in front of a live audience! This showcase is all about giving veterans and current serving ADF personnel a supportive stage to test their material, find their voice and experience that magical moment when something they wrote actually gets a laugh. Come along, grab a drink and cheer them on! You never know, you might be able to say “I saw them before they were famous.” 😂 Expect fresh material, nervous energy, big laughs and a whole lot of encouragement. Veterans, current serving ADF personnel and their families receive 50% off tickets! All events have a waitlist and resale option. If you can no longer attend, please follow these instructions: How to resell your ticket on Humanitix. Keen to give the workshop a go, register HERE.
