2026 Children's Week Picnic

Wyndham City's free Children's Week Picnic returns to the iconic Werribee Park on Sunday 25 October. Entry is free; however, a pre-booked ticket is required. To book your ticket, click on the "Reserve a spot" button. A much-loved tradition for Wyndham families, this free event features a packed program of activities for children of all ages, making it the perfect chance to come together as a community and create special memories. Enjoy a lively program of live performances, interactive activities, and cultural experiences for all ages. The stage will come alive with high-energy beats from DJ Be Kind to Other People, our event MC and host, With food trucks, hands-on workshops, and a warm, inclusive atmosphere, the Children’s Week Picnic is a day not to miss! Gates open at 9.30am. Last entry at 3.00pm. Tickets will be checked at entry gates. Please note that whilst gates will open at 9.30am, stage program and activities will commence from 10am until 4pm. Ticketing Information Entry is free; however, a pre-booked ticket is required. Free tickets will be available to book from 9am on Monday 12 October. A second release of tickets will be available from 9am on Wednesday 21 October. To help us manage attendance and provide a safe, enjoyable experience for everyone, all attendees over the age of 12months, must have a free pre-booked ticket. Unfortunately, tickets will not be available at the gate and visitors without a ticket will not be able to enter. Ticket entry times This year, we’re introducing ticketed entry times, with arrival windows available every hour. This helps us spread arrivals throughout the day, reducing queues and making it easier for you and your family to enjoy the event from the moment you arrive. When booking your free tickets, simply choose an entry time between 10am and 2pm that best suits your family. Each entry window has limited capacity, so we recommend booking early if you have a preferred arrival time. Please do not book multiple entry times as this limits ticket availability for other people. Entry times are: • 10am-11am (Gates open at 9.30am) • 11am-12pm • 12pm-1pm • 1pm-2pm • 2pm-3pm (Last entry at 3.00pm) On the day, please aim to arrive as close to your selected entry time as possible to help minimise congestion and avoid delays at entry points. Ticket numbers are limited. Ticketholders who find they can no longer attend the event, are encouraged to cancel their booking so we can make tickets available to others.
