Learn how key buildings have contributed to Geelong’s evolving identity as a UNESCO City of Design, while developing a deeper appreciation of the city’s contemporary built environment and architectural heritage.

The tour launches the first public edition of the ArchiGuide map, a curated folding guide featuring key buildings and architectural highlights across the city. Participants will receive a printed map to continue exploring independently beyond the tour. The experience offers a fresh way to look at familiar places while encouraging greater public understanding, appreciation and preservation of Geelong’s architectural legacy. Walk commences at Deakin University Geelong Waterfront Campus (beneath the Deakin Cube on Gheringhap St, Geelong).
