Reworld Your Neighbourhood: Creative Pathways for Youth Led Urban Commons

How can young people be given agency in creating place in order to feel socially included and connected? How can public places better reflect the diverse experiences of the people who live there? Reworld Your Neighbourhood is a public urban play event co-designed with young people to reimagine the neighbourhoods and public spaces where they live. Through creative, playful and participatory activities, participants are invited to explore their local environment, share their perspectives, and imagine new possibilities for the future of their community. The event creates opportunities for social connection and play, fostering a sense of be longing and public ownership of place while building young people's capacity to express and communicate their visions for more inclusive, vibrant and connected neighbourhoods.
