Extreme weather affects all of Australia. In this workshop you’ll learn about your local risks and how to better prepare for emergencies. As the world continues to warm, the weather in Australia is getting more extreme. At this FREE EmergencyRedi™ workshop, you'll learn about preparedness and begin your own emergency RediPlan®. You'll learn about your local risks and the practical, psychological, and social steps you can take to prepare for emergencies and minimise the impact of disasters on yourself and your loved ones. The EmergencyRedi™ workshop will cover four key areas: 1. Get in the Know - know the risks you face, including weather risks in your local area, how your life might be disrupted and who can help 2. Get Connected – How to connect to your community to help each other in an emergency 3. Get Organised – Make a plan and ensure you’re covered to reduce stress and save you precious time as you recover 4. Get Packing – Get practical and learn what items to pack that will help you during and after an emergency NRMA Insurance is on a mission to ensure Australian communities know their local risks and are educated on how to prepare for extreme weather through Help Nation – an initiative that unites people, communities, and organisations across Australia to get prepared.
