Full description from organizer

Horizon Europe, EU flagship R&I programme, opens Pillar II funding to Australian entities from 2027 for global collaboration opportunities Your Door to Europe: Unlocking Horizon Europe for Australian Researchers Horizon Europe is the European Union’s flagship research and innovation programme, and the world’s largest. It is opening its Pillar II funding to Australian entities, giving Australian researchers new ways to join global collaborations on some of the world’s biggest challenges. Horizon Europe can feel huge and hard to navigate at first. Where do you start? How do you find the right call? And how do you go from “interested” to “invited into a consortium”? What we’ll explore together 🔹 Understanding Horizon Europe: How the programme is structured, including work programmes, calls for proposals, the application process and the evaluation criteria reviewers use. 🔹 Finding your opportunity: Practical guidance on spotting relevant calls, reading call topics, connecting with European partners, building or joining a consortium, and positioning yourself for collaborative projects. 🔹 Q&A: Bring your questions, ideas and any “is this for me?” doubts. Who should attend Researchers, academics and research development managers who want to take their work global and be ready when the doors open in 2027. Delivered by the Office of Research Services (ORS), Bond University. Dr Giuliana Oyola-Lozada is a Pre-Award Research Support Officer at Bond University with 10+ years of experience in collaborative research, grant management, and biotechnology innovation. Drawing on a background in biomedical research and experience with international funding agencies, she supports researchers in securing competitive funding and strengthening the quality and competitiveness of research proposals.
