November Park of the Month – Burleigh Head National Park

Come along with Parks Connect to explore stunning Burleigh Head National Park at our November Park of the Month. On Saturday 28 November, we're gathering at one of the Gold Coast’s most beloved and ecologically rich National Parks to discover more about native plants, dolphins, Ranger insights and cultural connection! Book your free ticket to enjoy: • taking an advanced botany walk through littoral rainforest, tussock grassland and pandanus groves with David Jinks from Gold Coast Botany • learning the basics of plant identification in a living, breathing outdoor classroom, also with David Jinks from Gold Coast Botany • gaining insight into the science of dolphins, including their anatomy, communication and role in coastal ecosystems, with Isabela from Dolphin Research Australia • hearing from QPWS Ranger John about the realities of caring for this National Park and how the Gold Coast community plays a role, or • stepping onto Country and uncovering powerful stories on a guided Jellurgal Walkabout with the team at Jellurgal Cultural Experiences. This event runs from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, so choose one session or many, but book quickly! These spots will go fast, and places are limited.
