Writer’s Masterclass: Writing picture books with Dr. Lara Cain Gray

And then you will begin to plan out your own picture book, from finding the heart of your story and understanding why 'every word matters', to tips and protocols on how and where to submit your finished manuscript. This workshop will be led by Dr. Lara Cain Gray, writer, librarian and storytelling advocate. Lara’s professional past spans library and museum curatorship, academic research, and corporate and creative writing and editing. She is the author of several books, including The Grown-up’s Guide to Picture Books.
