2025/26 Tasmanian Horse of the Year & Hall of Fame Inductions

Get ready to celebrate Tasmania’s finest horses, trainers and jockeys, and welcome new legends into the Hall of Fame! 2025/26 Tasmanian Horse of the Year & Hall of Fame Inductions Join us at Wrest Point on September 18, 2026 at 6:00 PM for the prestigious Tasmanian Horse of the Year Awards and Hall of Fame Inductions. This in-person event celebrates outstanding achievements in the Tasmanian equine community. Set in the upgraded Derwent Room, Tasmania celebrates the hard work and success of trainers, jockeys, owners and, of course, the much loved horses across the Tasmanian thorougbred racing industry. The 2025/26 Tasmanian Thoroughbred Awards and Hall of Fame Inductions includes a 3 course meal with entree, an alternate main course drop and dessert. Complimentary pre-dinner drinks between 6.00 - 7.00pm and live music by Tony Mak. Hosted by Tasracing's Matt Reid this will be a night to remember. Tickets cost $110 and drinks are available to be purchased on the night. If you have any seating preferences or would like to book a table please include details with your ticket purchase.
