Join us for an in-person, community event on Tuesday, 22nd September brought to you by the Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC), University of Tasmania and the Research Data Alliance (RDA). Discover what's happening in digital research in your region: Hear about local initiatives, services and capabilities supporting researchers workign with data, digital tools and emerging technologies, and discover resources and expertise available to the UTAS research community and beyond. Explore what’s happening across the national and global research data community: Hear from ARDC and RDA community members about emerging approaches, practical initiatives and real-world examples shaping the future of research data sharing, management and reuse. Bring your research and data challenges: Whether you’re navigating data management, sharing and reuse, digital research infrastructure, interoperability or an emerging challenge, explore the people, services and communities that may be able to help - locally and globally. Find new opportunities to collaborate: Discover ways to connect with your local research data initiatives, ARDC capabilities and the international RDA community, and identify opportunities to contribute your expertise, join existing activities or build new collaborations. Meet your research community: Connect with researchers, digital research specialists, data professionals, research infrastructure providers and others across Tasmania - and continue the conversation over light refreshments and networking. Who should attend? We welcome researchers, academics, HDR candidates and early career researchers, research data and digital research professionals, research infrastructure specialists, university librarians and information professionals, research support staff, data custodians and collections professionals, digital humanities and computational researchers, and anyone interested in research data, digital infrastructure, AI and collaborative research communities. You don't need to be an existing ARDC or RDA community member to attend, all are welcome! Who will be speaking?
