About this event

Artist Matty Chilly leads a two-hour weaving workshop where participants create baskets while learning about the healing power of art. All materials are provided for this session open to adults without prior experience.

Full description from organizer

Join us for a weaving workshop led by Torch staff member and artist Matty Chilly, who is a proud descendant of the Wemba-Wemba, Neri-Neri, Yiti-Yiti, Mutti-Mutti, Wiradjuri, Yorta-Yorta, Watti-Watti, Barapa-Barapa and Gubbi Gubbi peoples. Over 2 hours, participants will learn to weave baskets and learn about the healing power of art. This workshop is suitable for adults aged 18+. No experience is needed, and all materials will be provided.
