A Polyamorous+ Social: Footscray October

Polyamory+ Victoria Social Event 1st Wednesday of the month. Join us for a relaxed evening of social engagement with fellow Polyamorous, Ethically Non-Monogamous, Relationship Anarchist, and intentional relationship enthusiasts. We are inclusive of the LGBTIQA+ community and welcome individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities. It's a perfect opportunity to share experiences, make new friends, and enjoy meaningful conversations in a welcoming courtyard environment. We, the volunteers at Polyamory+ Victoria, will be there to hold space, check your tickets on arrival, and answer any questions from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Reach out if you need anything. Emphasis on Consent Our event emphasises the importance of consent. What do we mean by “consent”? Consent is a freely given, reversible, informed, enthusiastic, and specific agreement between all parties involved in an interaction. It's about respecting boundaries and ensuring everyone feels safe and empowered to make their own choices. Please do note the intent of this event is a social meetup, it is not a dating or hookup event. Our Policy and Expectations are available via our website. Venue: • Littlefoot Bar & Kitchen (outdoor, partially covered courtyard). • A queer, non-monogamous and kink friendly venue in the heart of Footscray. • Winner of "Safe Spaces and Places (organisation)" at the Western Rainbow Awards. • Food & Drinks: Full kitchen with a variety of food and drink options, including coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic beverages. Check the menu for dietary requirements. Please help us maintain our relationship with the venue by not bringing other food into the venue. • Accessibility: the venue is wheelchair accessible. • Gender-neutral toilets. Finding us at the Venue If you enter through the bar, we're right down the back. Head past the booths to the hallway on your left, follow the fairy lights, pass the first outdoor courtyard on your left, and continue straight to the Private Courtyard at the back. This is a contained, roofed outdoor space with seating, heaters and privacy. If you have found the rose and skull mural you are in the right place! Tickets As a Non for Profit organization, we aim to ensure access for everyone who wants to engage with the community. Chat to us about the possibility of volunteering, there are a host of different skills and roles. Getting There: • Driving: Free street parking from 6pm. • Public Transport: 7-minute walk from Footscray Station. Important Notes: • Tickets: Please RSVP by grabbing a ticket so we can manage numbers, this is important for volunteers and staff at the venue. • Privacy: Be mindful and cautious if you see fellow attendees outside of this event. Not everyone is out. "I forget where we met" or "I guess we met through friends" is always handy, we find. • Assistance: If you need assistance during the event, feel free to reach out to one of our volunteers. Feel free to bring board games! The venue also has some available.
