A Musical Journey Back to the Training Centre! “When beautiful music is played, our hands begin to move, our heads begin to move, then even our feet begin to move… Little by little, this pleasure makes us forget all other things, we forget the time, we forget our troubles and just give ourselves up to music. We find a moment of concentration, something moves in our souls, in our spirits.” (Creative Development of the Child, Vol 1) Music is one of the joys of the human spirit! Return to the Training Centre to explore how musical experiences can be incorporated into your environments and revisit the wonder from listening and creating sounds to playing the bells and beyond. Come prepared to participate fully; to move, sing and dance! Date: Saturday, 13 March 2027 Time: 9am – 3pm Location: Kalker Montessori Centre, 1-3 Estelle St, Bulleen, VIC 3105, Australia Trainer: Amy Kirkham Cost: $160 + GST Audience: Open to all Montessori Diploma holders (AMI or other). What is Back to the Training Centre? Back to the Training Centre is exactly that – a dedicated, day-long opportunity to return to the training environment in-person and spend time in our permanently prepared spaces with colleagues and AMI trainers. These in-person days offer a chance to refresh key areas of practice with a particular focus on materials, and to extend and deepen your understanding beyond what was covered in your original Montessori training.
