Welcome to the ultimate casual trail day! Join your suspiciously energetic hike leader, Dan, for an easygoing classic under the 7 Days of FUN banner. We’re exploring Yarra Bend Park on an accessible loop designed to turn weekend couch potatoes into happy trail strollers. 🚨 Mission Intel: The Nitty Gritty This isn't a mountain scramble; it’s a picturesque, easy-grade riverside walk. Meeting Spot Abbotsford Convent - Beautiful historic grounds to start our morning. Arrival Time 10:00 AM SHARP. Blast-Off 10:20 AM STRIKE TIME Dan waits for no one. Be there or be sad at home! CRITICAL DAN ANNOUNCEMENT: If you aren't checked in by 10:20 AM, the group will move out without you. The trail doesn't have a "pause" button, and Dan has a very important date with a boathouse flat white later on. No steep rock scrambles here—just steady, enjoyable walking where you can actually hold a conversation. • The Scenery: Sweeping skyline views of the city, lush native bushland right on Melbourne's doorstep, and serene river bends. • The Pit Stop: We’ll stop at the historic Studley Park Boathouse for a mid-walk coffee, cold drink, or casual bite right by the water. • The Finish: We loop right back to where we started at the Abbotsford Convent.
