Hailing from Bray, County Wicklow, their trajectory skyrocketed after early songwriting snippets went viral online, making Irish music history when they became the first all-female band to reach #1 on the Irish Airplay chart with their breakout single Hanging Out To Dry. Formed organically by four best friends - frontwoman Lily Aron, guitarist Emma Brandon, bassist Ailbhe Barry, and drummer Hannah Kelly - the band draws on diverse rock influences, earning comparisons to The Cranberries for Lily's hauntingly clear and impassioned vocals. Off the back of a career-defining summer that saw the band instantly sell out tours across the US and Ireland, to Reading & Leeds, and monumental support slots for Olivia Rodrigo and Wolf Alice, Florence Road are set to deliver unforgettable shows at Sydney’s Metro Theatre and Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre.
