Gather and connect: Multicultural seniors chai and chat Shakti Mental Health and the Multicultural Women’s Alliance Againt Family Violence (MWAAFV) invite South Asian and multicultural seniors to a warm, catered Chai & Chat lunch. This gentle community gathering offers a welcoming space to share stories, enjoy a comforting meal, and take part in supportive conversations. Families are encouraged to bring their grandparents, aunties or uncles to connect, relax and spend time with community in a culturally familiar environment. • Support us to connect with multicultural seniors • Share cultural food and chai • Play carrom and share stories with each other • Support intergenerational connection between seniors and younger community • Learn about the lifeline toolkit FREE EVENT and Lunch provided! Gather and connect: Multicultural seniors chai and chat is supported by Lifeline and delivered in collaboration with the Multicultural Womens Alliance Against Family Violence and Shakti Mental Health.
