I Have a Pocket Full of Stars Mandarin Drama & Wellbeing Workshop | 2 hours Everyone has little things that make them who they are — favourite objects, interests, memories, stories and experiences that quietly shine in everyday life. I Have a Pocket Full of Stars is a creative Mandarin-language drama and wellbeing workshop inviting you to explore these personal “stars” through objects, imagination, storytelling, movement and playful drama. Starting with an everyday object, you'll have the opportunity to look at it in a new way and let it spark a story. Where did it come from? Who might it belong to? What has it seen or experienced? What stories could it hold? What will we explore? Through a series of gentle and imaginative activities, you'll: • Explore an everyday object through observation, touch and imagination • Create stories and characters inspired by your chosen object • Share and develop ideas with another participant • Bring stories to life through movement, sound and dramatic play • Contribute to a shared creative experience with the group • Reflect on the personal “stars” you carry with you A space for creativity, connection & discovery This workshop isn't about being a professional performer. It's an opportunity to play, imagine, express yourself and connect with others in a relaxed and supportive environment. Together, participants will create stories and moments that can be surprising, funny, meaningful and entirely their own. We'll finish by creating a shared poem inspired by the idea of a “pocket full of stars”, reflecting on what we want to carry with us and what we want to leave behind.
