A free, family-friendly Mid-Autumn Festival with lanterns, culture, activities, food, performances and a magical lantern parade! A Free Mid-Autumn Celebration for Children, Families and Community Come together for a joyful evening celebrating Chinese culture, family, friendship and multicultural harmony. Lanterns For All@ZCK is a free, intergenerational and child-centred Mid-Autumn Festival, welcoming children, parents, grandparents and people of all cultural backgrounds to celebrate together. Our purpose is to give every child the opportunity to experience Chinese culture, learn positive values and create lasting memories with their families, regardless of financial circumstances or cultural background. What to Expect • A spectacular Lantern Parade under the moonlight, led by the Qi Huang Dragon Dance Group • Five hands-on cultural and educational activity stations • Children grouped around five traditional Chinese virtues: 仁 Benevolence, 义 Justice, 礼 Courtesy, 智 Wisdom and 信 Honesty • Colourful cultural performances • Mid-Autumn storytelling and traditions • 400 complimentary packed vegetarian meals • A mooncake for participating families More than 400 children, parents, grandparents and community members are expected to celebrate with us. Through shared experiences, we hope children will discover the richness of Chinese cultural heritage and traditional values, while families from different backgrounds come together in the spirit of belonging, understanding and multicultural harmony.
