A time capsule event where you write a letter to the person you will be exactly one year from tonight. Letters to Your Future Self ✉️ When was the last time you wrote something for the person you’ll become? Join us at Sabi Sounds for a time capsule experience: an evening to slow down, reflect on where you are now, and write a letter to your future self. Guided by Jen, founder of The Gentle Exchange, you'll have time to put your thoughts, hopes, questions, memories or anything you want to remember into words. Once your letter is sealed, we’ll keep it safe for you and return it to you one year from now. No need to know exactly what to write. Just come as you are, take a moment to pause, and give your future self something to look back on. What to Expect • A guided reflection to help you think about where you are now • Time to write your letter to your future self • The chance to revisit your words one year from now Whether you want to write about where you are, where you hope to be, the people in your life, or simply what you don't want to forget — this letter is yours. One year from now, you'll get to meet the person you are today through your own words. ABOUT THE HOST Hi i'm Jen, the founder of The Gentle Exchange, a curated letter-exchange community where strangers are matched monthly to write each other honest, handwritten letters based on a shared theme. And on the 16th of September, we are holding our first in-person live event at Sabi Sounds at 7pm. The event is called "letters to your future self". Sit down, mingle with like minded people and write a letter to your future self a year from now. slow, honest and deeply human. seal the letters and we will safekeep the letters . on the exact date, one year from now, we will send the letters to your address. Join us because you and the world are changing faster than you realise, and in one year, you will want proof of who you are before it happened.
