🔴 Are you a part of the LGBTQIA+ community? 🟠 Are you supporting someone through mental health or substance use challenges? 🟡 Do you like being creative? 🟢 Looking for a safe space to be your authentic self? Being a part of the LGBTQIA+ community and supporting someone you love through their struggles, aren't often things that get named together. A lot of the time, there are spaces designed for one or the other. It's time that this changes. Express Yourself is a creative journalling group for LGBTQIA+ people navigating care. Whether you're supporting or providing care for a parent, sibling, partner, chosen family or friend - whether it's visible or invisible. This is a space to bring your whole self. What to expect: Two hours of creative journalling run by two family and carer peer workers who identify as a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Creative prompts designed for you. Sharing is optional.
