HERE’S WHAT TO EXPECT: Join us for a relaxing, guided breathwork session designed to help you reset, refocus and recharge. Led by Carly Woods – The Melbourne Apothecary’s certified Buteyko practitioner, trained life coach and qualified naturopath – this class will explore the connection between breath and beauty, along with calming techniques you can bring into your everyday routine.Beginners are welcome. No experience necessary! Session times: • 10:15am – 11:00am Saturday 3 October • 11:00am – 11:45am Saturday 10 October • 11:00am – 11:45am Saturday 24 October WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK: 1. This event is exclusive to MECCA Bourke Street. 2. Yoga mats, bolsters and blankets will be provided. 3. By completing this booking, I confirm that I have read and understood the following: If I am pregnant or may be pregnant, I understand that I am advised not to participate in breath-hold exercises. I confirm that I do not have a condition that would make participation inadvisable. If I do, I have consulted my healthcare provider before attending. Conditions requiring particular care include cardiovascular or respiratory conditions, epilepsy, a history of fainting or seizures, severe hypertension, glaucoma, recent surgery or serious mental health conditions. I understand that breathwork may produce physical sensations, including tingling, light-headedness, dizziness or muscle contractions, as well as emotional responses that may continue after the session. I understand that this session is a wellness experience and is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment. I am participating voluntarily and take full responsibility for my breathing and health throughout the session. I may modify or stop following the guidance at any time if I feel uncomfortable, unwell or uncertain. I agree to disclose any relevant health conditions to the facilitator before the session begins. I accept the risks associated with my participation, including any injury, adverse physical or emotional reaction, or loss arising during or after the session.
