Victorian Public Sector LGBTQ+ Forum – Quarter 3: From Strategy to Practice This forum is facilitated by Pride in Diversity and hosted by the Department of Treasury and Finance (Victoria). It is open to all Victorian Public Sector organisations, including Pride in Diversity member and non-member agencies. Building on our previous forum, this quarter focuses on translating strategy into practice—exploring how LGBTQ+ inclusion is being embedded through leadership, governance, employee networks and practical implementation across the Victorian Public Sector. A feature of the afternoon will be a practical case study from the Department of Treasury and Finance, sharing reflections on their LGBTQ+ inclusion strategy, governance arrangements, executive sponsorship, employee network and working group. Through an open conversation, participants will hear practical lessons, challenges and ideas that may be adapted within their own organisations. While the primary focus is workplace inclusion, we also recognise that many Victorian Government organisations consider LGBTQ+ inclusion across workforce, service delivery and broader community contexts.
