Recharge

We invite local Yoga Teachers to RECHARGE during this in person practice, led by Melbourne-based yoga teachers, Whitney Cummins. Join us by moving into the celebratory time of the year to reflect on what has been and transition into what will be. Venue: Green Monday Studios, Carlton VIC. Duration: 90 minutes Includes: Slow flow into restorative yoga + yoga nidra. Yoga mats, bolsters, blankets, and blocks, or feel free to bring your own if you prefer. Meet Your Teacher: Whitney Cummins is a Melbourne-based yoga and meditation teacher and trainer, originally from Southern California, who has been practicing yoga since 2007. She is a Level 2 registered teacher with Yoga Australia, has shared thousands of hours of yoga through classes, workshops, teacher trainings and festivals, and has been fortunate to learn and practice with many teachers across nearly 4,000 hours of training. Across various studios and shalas in Melbourne, Whitney teaches weekly Hatha, Tantric Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin and Yoga Nidra classes. With workshops on the Goddesses, Tantric philosophy, rest and the nervous system are also in annual rotation. "What fuels my sharing of the practices and wisdom of Yoga and Tantra is the awe I continue to feel at how deeply these teachings can bring us closer to that which we seek. These tools offer us maps and compasses for engaging with all the facets of life. For me, yoga is not something we step away from life to practice; these practices are the means by which we learn to walk through life."
