Saturday Studio Sessions - Session 1: The ART and Science of Creativity

Discover how creativity can help you explore new possibilities. Creativity shows up in the way we see, make choices and find our way through everyday life. This workshop gives you a chance to explore your own creative process, and what research can tell us about the brain and creative thinking. You'll be offered playful drawing opportunities, sensory experiments and fresh questions and you'll be invited to do some visual thinking or change an image to explore another possibility. You might notice a familiar way of approaching things, enjoy someone else’s perspective or find an idea you’d like to open up further. 90 minutes; no more than six participants. No art experience needed. All materials and aprons provided. No previous session required. Newcomers welcome; each session stands alone. Take away a creative practice, a fresh question or an idea to try in your own life. Arrival from 10:00am | Session 10:15–11:45am • Please arrive between 10:00am & 10:10am to settle in. • The coworking-space doors lock at 10:15am, and late entry is not available.
