Join our sommelier, Antony Anderson (WSET4), for a delightful afternoon of exploring the history and flavours of six cellared wines, over a perfectly matched four-course lunch (see the line up below). This particular event focuses on the concept of aging wine, and shows how even medium-priced wines can develop into exceptional wines when cellared properly. Grenache is special because it manages to be both generous and surprisingly elegant at the same time. Known for vibrant raspberry, strawberry and red cherry fruit layered with soft spice, dried herbs and earthy warmth, Grenache often brings a silky texture and brightness that makes it incredibly easy to drink while still carrying depth and complexity. It’s also one of the great shared-table wines, pairing beautifully with slow-cooked meats, especially game meats, roasted vegetables and rich Mediterranean flavours.
