Eucalypt Identification workshop (Newcastle region) - Two day training - Fundamentals and Field tour of the eucs! 17/18th September

Unlock the mystery of Australia’s most iconic trees with a hands-on workshop tailored to your region. With over 1,000 species, eucalypts can be famously tricky to ID - this immersive course breaks it down using localised samples and practical techniques. ​Workshops blend engaging presentations, ID tools, specimen handling, and field-based learning. You'll gain skills in: • Recognising key ID features • Using simplified keys and botanical descriptions • Understanding eucalypt ecology and plant communities A complimentary copy of the Eucalypt Features Guide is provided with each ticket. These workshops are perfect for groups of ecologists, bush regenerators, students, bush-walkers, educators and plant lovers. ***Note attendees must have completed Day one - Fundamentals (to gain the necessary skills) before attending day two - eucalypt field tour*** Day two (option 2 of 2) - Eucalypt tour location TBC @ 8:00 am.
