Kinusaiga Fabric Art Workshop

You can pick from a large number of designs that have been drawn and cut into a foam board (20 cm x 20 cm). Small pieces of fabric are laid over each section, and the fabric edges are gently tucked into the grooves with a sewing tool, creating a smooth, mosaic-like image. The technique was originally developed as a way to reuse scraps of fine silk from old kimonos, turning leftover fabric into decorative artwork. Create your own unique project to take home. No experience needed - all materials are provided, and you'll get to take your handmade creation home with you.
