North and Elsewhere with Anousha Victoire

Sister duo 'North and Elsewhere' join folksinger Anousha Victoire for an afternoon of songs and stories at Bar Sole. A weaver of everyday dreams, Anousha Victoire shares bilingual stories across cultures and time with fingerpicking guitar, bell-over-water vocal tone and sparkling violin accompaniment. Enthralling festival audiences from Woodford to Cresfest, she generates an emotional intimacy that moves the audience to tears, whether in a town hall or folk club. Hazel and Roanna Law (North and Elsewhere) were raised on folk music and family harmonies in the heart of the Sunshine Coast. When you're born into folk music it stays with you. The sisters are 2026 Finalists for Youth Artist of the Year in the Australian Folk Music Awards, and released their debut album 'Safe Harbour' in July. They sing of nature, childhood and connection; exploring what it means to be human amidst our rapidly changing world. Doors open 2pm for drinks and nibbles. Show starts 3pm. Delicious food available before, during and after the show. BYO alcohol.
