A Promise to the Planet Perth - Citizen COP 2026

The evening will begin with a series of short, engaging talks from climate activists, researchers and innovators, showcasing inspiring work already underway to address the climate crisis and protect the places we love. A panel discussion will then explore the challenges we face, the opportunities for change and how each of us can find our place in creating a better future. The evening will conclude with a creative, interactive activity inviting everyone to make their own Promise to the Planet — a personal commitment to care for our environment and contribute to climate action. Each promise will become part of a collaborative artwork, with participants creating a small piece of a larger seascape. Together, these individual contributions will create something much bigger — a visual reminder that when our actions come together, they can create powerful collective change. A Promise to the Planet is an opportunity to connect, learn, create and leave inspired, with a renewed sense of hope and a personal commitment to help shape the future we want to see.
