Full description from organizer

A practical guide for parents to understand AI at home and school, spot digital risks, and support safer, more responsible use with children AI is becoming part of everyday family life. The challenge is knowing how to help children use it safely, thoughtfully, and well. From school assignments and learning apps to social media and online content, AI is already shaping how children learn and interact with technology. For parents and guardians, keeping up can feel difficult, especially when new risks and questions appear alongside the opportunities. This practical 60-minute session provides clear, balanced guidance for navigating AI, digital safety, learning, privacy, and responsible use at home. The focus is on everyday situations, not technical theory or fear-based messages. What you will take home • Practical Family AI Safety Tips • A simple AI and Digital Boundaries Guide • Practical ways to talk with children about responsible AI use • Greater confidence navigating AI-related questions at home Good to know This is a 60-minute, discussion-led session for adults.
