Investing in Our Future: YACWA's 2027-28 State Budget Priorities

YACWA's Pre-Budget Submissions are a central mechanism of our advocacy work, informing the State Government on young people's and the youth sector's funding priorities for the upcoming financial year. Our Submission is informed by our ongoing collaborations with WA’s youth sector, reflecting the insights and efforts of young people, youth workers, and the broader community. The launch will include a presentation of YACWA’s priorities for the 2027-28 State Budget, followed by refreshments, networking, and a thought-provoking panel discussion featuring some of the young people involved in our consultations. The launch presents a great opportunity for the youth sector to come together and highlight the growing need for investment in the upcoming State Budget. For our friends living in the regions, there will be an option to attend online, however the networking capacity will be limited.
