Dignity in Practice 2026: Fireside Conversation

Fireside Conversation with Dr Allan Wade and Dr Shelly Dean Join executive leaders, sector partners and key stakeholders for an exclusive evening of connection, conversation and thought leadership. Featuring internationally recognised Response-Based Practice expert Dr Allan Wade and researcher and practitioner Dr Shelly Dean, this intimate event will be facilitated by Anna Scott, Operations Manager at Zonta House Refuge Association. Guests will enjoy canapés and refreshments and participate in a facilitated discussion exploring leadership, practice and system change. The evening will also include opportunities for audience Q&A, networking with peers, and meeting the speakers in a relaxed and engaging environment. This event is proudly delivered in partnership with Zonta House Refuge Association, Department of Communities, Centre for Women’s Safety and Wellbeing and WorkforceFDV. Purpose The Fireside Conversation has been designed to create space for meaningful dialogue about the future of practice, service responses and systems change. The event aims to foster connection, share insights and strengthen collaborative responses to victim-survivors of family and domestic and sexual violence. This is a limited-capacity invitation event. To support meaningful discussion and networking opportunities, places are strictly limited.
