NEST OF BOWLS WORKSHOP A HAND-BUILDING CERAMIC WORKSHOP WITH REBEKAH CLARK Join Rebekah Clark for a relaxed, hands-on ceramic workshop exploring the ancient art of the pinch pot. Take a morning to slow down, immerse your fingertips in clay and enjoy the simple, tactile process of creating something by hand — whether it’s a keepsake for yourself or a thoughtful gift for someone special. We’ll explore pinch-pot construction and techniques for creating beautiful, balanced forms while learning how to minimise cracks and kiln casualties. WHAT YOU’LL MAKE Choose to create a nesting set of bowls that fit neatly inside one another, or a collection of individual pots for trinkets, small treasures, collections or use in the kitchen. Each piece will be individually hand-built and will develop its own unique character. WHAT’S INCLUDED This small class includes one-on-one tuition, stoneware clay, use of ceramic tools, guidance in hand-building and pinch-pot techniques, glaze examples to choose from, bisque firing and final glaze firing. Please allow up to 4 weeks for your pieces to be completed and ready for collection from Heritage Collective. WORKSHOP DETAILS COST $139 plus booking fee Saturday 31 October · 10:00am–12:00pm Please arrive 15 minutes early to get settled. Heritage Collective · Cnr Warton Road & Marine Parade, Cottesloe, WA No previous ceramic experience is necessary. A FEW THINGS TO KNOW Tea, coffee and morning tea will be provided. Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting clay on, or bring an apron. Please trim your nails and leave jewellery at home — this is a hands-on class! TERMS & CONDITIONS In the event of a participant cancellation, no refund will be provided. Your place may be transferred to another person of your choosing, provided the request is made via email no later than 48 hours before the workshop commences. A full refund will only be provided if the workshop is cancelled by Rebekah. A minimum of 4 participants is required for the workshop to proceed.
