Getto Fabulous

October 17th sees the buffalo club play host to Getto Fabulous a grass roots night built for party people— a celebration of golden era hip hop with a touch of funk, neosoul, reggae and underground dance music spun on wax, by DJs who still believe in the craft of the crate dig. — just good vibe breaks, and the warmth only vinyl gives. Conscious lyrics over dusty loops. Live MCs freestyling off the top, trading bars in real time, building the room's energy from scratch every single set. Come move to the low end that only soulful hiphop brings. Bring your dancing shoes and your open ears — the cyphers are unscripted, the selections are deep, and the vibe is unmistakably fabulous. Getto Fabulous — where the culture stays conscious and the wax stays hot. Dj's // BEN BEN, DOUBLE G, IRON PALM Featuring // CHANI, OPTIMYSTIC MC, MIKE SLADE, TINA ZANDO Hosted by // AYSHA AMANI
