🌊 LATE NIGHT LIBRARY // CHAPTER 07: SUNSET SEASCAPE SIP & PAINT For our October chapter, Late Night Library is headed to the ocean. On Thursday, October 22nd, we’re setting up right on the water’s edge at the iconic Scarborough Beach SLSC for an intimate, golden-hour session of seascape painting, wine, and bookish chatter. 📖 THE READ: The Light Between Oceans by M.L. Stedman To match our ocean backdrop, this month’s selection is M.L. Stedman’s modern Australian classic, The Light Between Oceans - a beautiful novel of love, isolation, and moral crossroads set against the West Australian coast. Throughout the evening themes and prompts from the book will be woven into our painting session. 🖌️ THE COLLABORATION: We are so delighted to be collaborating with local artist Chloe - a favourite face from our recent LNL evenings! Chloe will be guiding us step-by-step through a seascape painting session tailored to the mood and light of the coast. Whether you haven't picked up a paint brush since childhood or are an avid artist, all are welcome and will leave with your very own canvas to take home. 🍸 THE ATMOSPHERE: BYO Bring along your favourite beverage. For this chapter, as it’s a guided session, we’re keeping capacity set to 40 seats. This ensures everyone has plenty of space, a clear line of sight, and an intimate, relaxed atmosphere to paint and chat.
