Youth Mentoring in Focus: Big Brothers Big Sisters

Visitors & Guests Are Always Welcome Whether you are curious about what Rotary does, looking for a meaningful way to get involved in the local Scarborough community, or simply want to start your morning with great coffee and good conversation, we would love to have you join us. Our weekly breakfast meetings are relaxed, informal, and open to everyone. Event Overview Join us on Thursday, 22 October as we welcome a guest speaker from Big Brothers Big Sisters of Australia to our morning meeting. As one of the nation's leading youth mentoring organisations, Big Brothers Big Sisters provides young people facing adversity with positive, long-term adult role models to help them build resilience, confidence, and brighter futures. During the presentation, we will hear about the evidence-based mentoring programs they facilitate, the profound impact one-to-one mentoring has on young lives, and the growing need for community mentors right here in Western Australia. It is a fantastic opportunity for members and guests to learn how dedicated mentorship strengthens community connections and helps empower the next generation to reach their full potential. Open to the Public Are you curious about how Rotary works or looking for a way to give back to the Scarborough community? This monthly breakfast is the perfect "no-pressure" environment to meet our members, hear what we are currently working on, and see where your own passions might fit in.
