Men and Women of all ages and at every stage of faith are warmly welcome! Conflict in ministry and community life is not a sign that something has gone wrong. It's a sign that people care, that needs differ, and that we're doing life together rather than alone. This session helps us understand why we clash, how our minds quietly distort each other's motives, and how grace - not avoidance, not combat - can become a practical posture in the middle of disagreement. We'll cover: - Why good, well-meaning people still misread each other's intentions. - Five common responses to conflict, and when each one actually serves the relationship - A simple three-step practice (Listen, Acknowledge, Bridge) for staying present and charitable in a hard conversation. - Guided practice in pairs, so the tools have a chance to become muscle memory before people need them. You will leave with a working vocabulary for conflict, a felt sense of the practice, and language that stays theologically grounded throughout.
