She has more than thirty years of professional experience, from running her own businesses to holding senior executive roles in national and multinational organisations. Her career spans leadership positions as Director, Chief Operating Officer and Human Resources Director, giving her a rare blend of strategic acumen and hands-on operational insight. Karen Pearn - Practice Management & Education Karen has over 20 years of experience in general practice, including extensive experience in practice management, nursing, accreditation and education. She previously managed two large, busy metropolitan general practices before spending the past three and a half years remotely managing two rural general practices, overseeing operations, business performance, compliance and accreditation. Karen has completed 11 accreditation cycles at management level, along with extensive additional work supporting practices through accreditation preparation and compliance. As a recently appointed RACGP Accreditation Surveyor, she brings valuable insight into both the practical implementation of the RACGP Standards and the accreditation assessment process. Having worked across multiple roles in general practice, from medical reception and nursing to senior practice management, Karen understands the operational and business challenges practices face.
