Tea Ceremony at the Art Sanctuary

Experience a meditative Cha Dao Tea Ceremony to cultivate receptivity, inner harmony and awakened presence. Living organic Chinese tea will be shared as a plant medicine - nourishing and calming for the nervous system. Tea assists with grounding the spirit and mindfulness. This is an invitation to slow down and take a pause amid the busyness and distractions of modern life. We will sit together in silence, drink a few bowls of tea in the ritual of ceremony, and just be present to meet and receive whatever you need in the moment. There will be time at the end for discussion, reflection and questions. When the weather conditions allow, this event may be held outdoors. After the tea ceremony, you are invited to connect with the land at The Art Sanctuary and take some time to wonder and explore the grounds, and be within nature before journeying home. About your facilitator Ai-Ling Truong is a student of Cha Dao 'The Way of Tea' - integrating tea into her life as a ritual, for self cultivation, meditation, and as a plant medicine for the body, mind and spirit. Ai-Ling serves regular tea ceremonies around Perth, offering people a meditative and mindful experience. She has served tea in ceremony at Cntrespace, Ember Bathhouse, Plant Playground Cafe, State of Zen Studio, Vitality House and Folk Space Yoga Studio. She also shares the art and culture of Gongfu Cha, traditional Chinese tea preparation.
