Learn about the wonderful world of native bees - who they are, their diversity, and the food and nesting needs, with Dr Kit Prendergast, the Bee Babette. Then join Kit for a native bee spotting tour around Eric Singleton Reserve - one of her study sites! Learn how to spot bees on the fly and take photos. Dr Kit Prendergast is the WA Early-Career Scientist of the Year and WA Young Tall Poppy. She has published over 80 peer-reviewed articles, and has worked with City of Bayswater documenting the biodiversity of native bees across the council's greenspaces and advise on restoration targeting native bees to ensure Bayswater is a thriving native bee friendly council.
